Spain is one of the great wine-producing countries of the world, but in America it always has been overshadowed by France, California, and Italy. The Great Match, the first annual Spanish wine-tasting coming soon to Dallas, should bring your palate up to date. A mammoth pairing of Spanish wines with tapas, prepared by six notable Dallas chefs (Kent Rathbun of Seventeen Seventeen, Stephan Pyles of Star Canyon, Larry Doyle of Anzu, and Carmen Jimenez of Cafe Madrid, among others), The Great Match is produced by Wines of Spain.
