Your Baseball Season Guide to Pre- and Post-Game Eats and Drinks in Arlington
By Lauren Drewes Daniels
Unlike many of us, Dallas chef Jim Severson has had more than one good idea. His classic American food philosophy made Dakota's a favorite for years (and suggests success for his own new restaurant, Sevy's). Severson was also the brain behind the ever-popular Farmers Market Cooking Classes, a series of demonstration classes by Dallas' top chefs using seasonal produce from the market and presented by the American Institute of Wine and Food, co-sponsored by Farmers Market Friends. Classes are held on Saturdays at the Market Resource Center, and the cost includes lunch, prepared by some of Dallas' top toques. For more information about who's cooking what, when, call (214) 757-1262.
