"The film is Silent Partner. Released in 1978, it stars Elliot Gould, Christopher Plummer and Susannah York. The woman whose head ends up in the fish tank is Celine Lomez, a French-Canadian singer.

"The story is about how Gould uses the robbery by Plummer to steal a much larger amount and Plummer acts to get that money, believing it's his. Plummer plays a focused sociopathic villain. It is actually a very good movie, several cuts above the usual targets of these searches."
