Kids Who Care will be presenting Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Fort Worth's Scott Theater. If you haven't seen it, imagine a GAP commercial with religious overtones. If you have, then know that it'll be a lot like the version starring Donny Osmond, only considerably less annoying. It opens Thursday and runs through May 9. Call 817-737-5437. --Leah Gerchario

Give Them a Hand
There are simply not enough days celebrating those whose whole lives revolve around having someone's hand lodged in their rear cavity. Get your mind out of the gutter--we were thinking of puppets. You may think, like John Cusack's character in Being John Malkovich, "nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate." Au contraire--Lone Star Puppet Guild is fervently embracing the fifth annual National Day of Puppetry with a day of performances, exhibits and workshops for kids and adults. This is, of course, unless you find puppets mysteriously creepy. Felt-friendly folks will enjoy classics like Punch & Judy and regional fave Pecos Bill. The legal-to-drink set should check out The Mimi Show (contains "adult humor"), and everyone's invited to flaunt their creations at the puppet parade or get their hands dirty at the "Creative Creatures from Recycled Junque." You know how on television the talking animals walk on green stuff and have a blue background behind them? Well, they're called grass and sky in real life.
