Why can't they make Texas food outside Texas?

Hey, we never said anything about Ark-Mex.

So there's really nothing wrong with brown gravy on your battered beef, beans in your chili, a barbecue of pulled pork on white bread or ketchup-style salsa--depending on your locale.

If you prefer a Texas-style menu item, however, Rodriguez remains adamant: "You gotta have it in Texas."
