Your Baseball Season Guide to Pre- and Post-Game Eats and Drinks in Arlington
By Lauren Drewes Daniels
Saturday's Wall of Sound local music festival reads like my dream birthday party. If the show only featured the spacey synth-rock of Midlake and Red Monroe, the ultra-loud blasts of Record Hop and The Golden Falcons and the catchy Brit-pop of The Hourly Radio and Black Tie Dynasty, I'd already be sold, but 21 more bands are playing, and they're no slouches, either. From the promising college-jangle of The Silver Arrows to Dallas Observer Music Awards nominees Pilotdrift and Radiant*, and even the return of '90s Dallas shoegazers Comet, WoS's D-FW lineup is beyond "good." Consider this show mandatory.
