The Mighty Ducks was one kick-ass movie, so when Disney announced it was bringing a real NHL team to Anaheim in the early '90s, I got excited. But then Emilio Estevez got passed over for the coaching position, and the new guy took the "Flying V" out of the playbook. He even released my all-time favorite goalie, Greg Goldberg, famous for morale-raising affirmations like "I am GoldbergTHE GOALIE!" After that, I decided I would have no part in Mighty Duck fandom, so this Wednesday, I hope the Dallas Stars give these faux Ducks the kind of clobbering they deserve. See the feathers fly at the American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave. The puck drops at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $10 to $275. Call 214-GO-STARS.
