So how do you live up to the dubious distinction of being called "the black Jerry Lewis"? The only man that can answer that would be comedian Arnez J. According to his Comedy Central bio, his physical humor has also drawn comparisons to Jim Carrey. Poor guy. The real question may be: How can Mr. J make a name for himself when everyone else's name comes up? For one thing, you open up for Prince. This is a feat no other comic has attempted, and J was personally requested by his Royal Badness. OK. Fair enough. Name made. Check out Prince's favorite funny man this weekend at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road, Thursday through Sunday. For times and tickets, call 972-404-8501 or visit www.improvclubs.com.
