Art Tomorrow

What's in store for Dallas art?

On the third Thursday of each month, the Nasher Sculpture Center hosts Thursday Night in the City, a night of special programs, evening walks and cocktails. On February 16, the Nasher reflects on what Thursday nights in this city might be like in the future. Raymond Nasher leads a panel of Arts District neighbors, who will each influence the city's artistic contributions in a unique way. The panel includes representatives from the Dallas Museum of Art, The Dallas Symphony, the Dallas Center for Performing Arts and Booker T. Washington High School for Performing and Visual Arts. The Future of the Dallas Arts District discussion is from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Nasher Sculpture Center, 2001 Flora St. Admission is $5 to $10. Museum members and children under 12 are admitted free. Call 214-242-5100 or visit nashersculpturecenter.org.
Thu., Feb. 16, 6-7 p.m.
