Waiter, Waiter!

Who wouldn't like to boss around celebrity chef Stephan Pyles? He and more than two dozen local celebrities will be dishing out food and fun at the 12th Annual Celebrity Waiter Galabenefiting the Child Abuse Prevention Center. Thrill to former Oakland Raider and Heisman Trophy winner Tim Brown dashing to serve your soup. Try to keep your eyes on the plate instead of server Morgan Matlock (Miss Texas). And for heaven's sake, don't ask Congressman Pete Sessions for seconds. Tip big (and participate in the silent auction) to support a great organization. This Saturday, cocktails begin at 6:30 p.m., dinner's at 7:45 p.m. and dancing follows at The Science Place, 1318 2nd Ave. in Fair Park. Tickets are $250 each. Call 214-370-9810.
