In spite of the title, Saturday's Iceman Triathlon is not a Top Gun-themed competition with costume contests, Air Force dogfights ("Splash that sucker!") and "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling" sing-alongs, and even if it were, why would anyone name it after Val Kilmer's douchey character? No, this triathlon is as straightforward as they come, so be ready to swim 300 meters, bike 12 miles and jog another 3.1 miles starting at 6:30 a.m. at the Carroll ISD Aquatics Center, 1501 W.
