Less Than One

The promo photo for Zero, a one-man play starring Danny O'Connor, features two shots of the actor in a strange illustrated environment. If Morgan Spurlock followed some paw prints to the Mad Dog 20/20 display at Centennial on an episode of Blue's Clues, it might end up looking something like this. The show itself deals with one man's struggle to leave behind the drinking and partying of his wild and woolly youth and accept the "dreaded adulthood he fears, wants, worries about and has always hoped for." Sounds a little like a bad Adam Sandler movie. Or a bad Charlie Sheen movie. Or another American Pie sequel. In other words...ORIGINAL. But if O'Connor has that trippy animated background when he performs Zero at the Addison Studio Theatre, 15650 Addison Road, I am so there. Zero plays at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. Tickets are $12. Call 972-245-6218.
April 27-29, 8 p.m.
