Kid Rock, like Mike Tyson and Tom Cruise, should never say no to an interview. While Tyson and Cruise are great quotes because they're crazy, Kid Rock is great because he says stuff like this: "I do not believe that artists or actors and people should be out there like voicing their full-blown opinions on politics because, let's face it, at the end of the day, I'm not that smart of a guy." True, but you are a damn good musician, Bob Ritchie. See Mr. Rock 6 p.m. Friday at the Smirnoff Music Centre, 1818 First Ave. in Dallas. Tickets are $19.75 to $43.75.
