Star Power

FWMSH shines bright

Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight...you know the drill. Stars are usually for wishing. But is your wish less valid if it's on a satellite or more valid if it's on a planet? There is more to the night sky than meets the eye. Put this fluffy stuff to the back of your mind and become more diverse in your knowledge of the universe with solar cooking demonstrations, space program information and an evening Star Party at National Astronomy Day. Festivities begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Noble Planetarium at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History, 1501 Montgomery St. in Fort Worth. Admission prices vary. Call 817-255-9300 or visit fortworthmuseum.org.
Sat., May 6, 11 a.m.
