The only thing worse than a slacker is one who doesn't watch the entirety of The Price Is Right. (Talkin' to you, negligent pet owners.) Maybe you just wanted to catch Plinko, or maybe you flip the channel the instant a Showcase Showdown winner is announced, but you keep missing Bob Barker's message at every episode's end—spay and neuter your pets. At the very least, the Treasured Friends no-kill shelter at 3556 Ridgebriar Drive picks up the slack around Dallas, but it needs your help finding homes for stray puppies and kittens, so help out by visiting its expansive summer garage sale from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. Call 972-241-0400.
Fri., May 19, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.; Sat., May 20, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
