To Di For

The Panther City Players sniff England's rose

We have trouble believing that people are still interested in Diana, Princess of Wales. Once the world's most beloved royal icon, Lady Di took her taxi ride to heaven nearly a decade ago—old news, right? The 11 characters in The Dianalogues would certainly disagree with that stance; the Panther City Players production at the Rose Marine Theatre, 1440 N. Main St. in Fort Worth, takes a look at the worldwide fascination with Dirty Diana through 11 monologues. Hear praises and condemnations from the likes of a bitter wife, a seedy cab driver, a male Diana impersonator and even Mother Teresa--different people with only Her Royal Highness (and writer Laurel Haines' wit) in common. Shows are at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors. Call 817-654-9286.
July 13-15, 8 p.m.
