This shouldn't be surprising, but we can't help but feel a little bothered by it: The Gambler has a MySpace page. It wasn't bad enough that Kenny Rogers had to make a recent appearance on American Idol, looking not at all like the bushy-haired, full-faced figure we remember from our childhood. But MySpace? Scrolling through his comments box and its collection of glitter graphics, it dawned on us why "Coward of the County" wasn't available for download. (And believe us when we say that if it were, "Coward" would be rockin' our profile at this very moment.) The old stuff is out because there's too much new. According to his Web site, Rogers has had a record in the charts in each of the past six decades, and his touring schedule would rival that of any young up-and-comer. He's a busy man—we get it. But c'mon, Kenny, can't you add just one of the oldies to your page? We'll put you in our Top 8 if you do. Rogers performs with the Oak Ridge Boys 8 p.m. Friday at Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie.
