What's more inspiring, artistically or otherwise, than running one's fingertips over the supple curves or taut musculature of...um, er, never mind. Look, all I'm trying to say is that for centuries the human body has motivated and inspired artists in their creative processes. The AlSo Gallery, 1425 Dragon St., honors the human form in its latest exhibition of paintings, drawings, sculpture and photography by Logan Rene Broussard, Bonny Liebowitz, Mildred Manning, Michael Mentier and others. Figure 8 runs through June 24. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays and Saturdays and Sundays by appointment. Call 214-744-0173.
