Fans of the Ultimate Fighter series on Spike TV can go ahead and worry, though; it remains to be seen whether the local cage-fighting event has anything to do with the high-level martial arts of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, either. Still, the Diesel Fighting Championship is a rare chance to see cage-fighting in person—and it might help toughen up the image of football kickers, since Dallas Desperados kicker Carlos Martinez is the event organizer.
