In what looks like a showcase of dancing Captain Kirks, the Wiggles are a group of four Australian men that have sung and danced their way into the hearts of preschool children across the world. On a sadder note, they have also entranced thousands of stoned college kids too. Their TV show is a cross between Pee-Wee's Playhouse and Mister Rogers Neighborhood that offers a semi-educational approach to teaching the wee ones about communication skills. The supporting cast includes a pornish-named pirate, Captain Feathersword, and a creepy cop called Officer Beaples. The show has become a hit across the world, boosting the quartet into stardom by way of worldwide tours and TV appearances. They are even considered the highest-earning act in Australia, topping Nicole Kidman and AC/DC combined in 2005. In their newest concert tour, Wiggledancing, the Wiggles will find themselves at Grand Prairie's Nokia Theatre for two days that will feature all of their best characters, including Dorothy the Dinosaur, Wags the Dog and Henry the Octopus. The concerts are scheduled for 2 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $15.50 to $32.50. Call 214-373-8000 or visit ticketmaster.com.
