Candlebox? Wow, who'd have thought those guys were still around? Oh, it's a reunion tour with all original members. Who were the original members? Weren't they from Seattle? I thought they were leftover metal burnouts who latched onto the whole grunge thing. The only song I can remember off the top of my head is "Far Behind." Let me Google them and see what I can dig up on iTunes. They all cut their hair. Didn't they used to have long hair? That "You" song sounds familiar. I think it was their big power ballad. They're playing the Ridglea over in Fort Worth. What, they're not big enough to play Dallas? Oh, the Gypsy's got some hip-hop show that night and the Granada booked Bugs Henderson. Dude, that's just sad when freakin' Bugs Henderson gets booked at a better venue. Nothing against the Ridglea. That's actually a pretty good place to see a show if you don't mind the drive to Fort Worth. At least the parking's free. Candlebox performs with Driveblind and Bril at the Ridglea Theater, 6025 Camp Bowie Blvd. in Fort Worth. Doors open at 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $21. Call 817-738-9500 or visit frontgatetickets.com.
