The Goss Gallery opened with a bang last year with its inaugural exhibit of David LaChapelle's hip and surreal photographs. And since then, well, um, hey, remember that LaChapelle exhibit? I'm probably just out of touch with the photographic art world, but I wasn't jumping up for joy at the announcement of Garry Fabian Miller's upcoming retrospective. In fact, I reclined further in my chair wondering how not to mention a certain British pop star in relation to the Goss Gallery to meet my word count. But check out Miller—his luminescent works prolly won't end up in the tabs, but they're still lovely to look at. Garry Fabian Miller: A Retrospective runs Thursday through September 30 at the Goss Gallery, 2500 Cedar Springs Road. For further information, visit gossgallery.com.
