You know you want to relive those days of fun again, and we have just what the doctor ordered. Get your head out of the gutter; we're not talking about a Saturday night of clubbing—this is much better. Thanks to the fine folks up north, we have a new way to enjoy all things cool and white. Free of the ear-bleeding beats and impending rehab of the club/drug circuit, you can enjoy a new type of snow and ice that's fun and safe for the whole family (provided you avoid frostbite) at Gaylord Texan ICE! With more than 2 million pounds of ice, including crystal and colored ice, hand-carved by artisans from Harbin, China, we have our very own winter wonderland just down the street. At a toe-numbing 9 degrees, you can don a winter coat (provided by the resort) and go for a slide, regardless of the fickle Texas weather outside. ICE! and the Lone Star Christmas celebration will be blowing through town from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily through January 6 at Gaylord Texan, 1501 Gaylord Trail in Grapevine. Tickets are $10 to $23.
