Ah, those long, lost days of pyromania. Remember when setting stuff on fire was, like, pretty funny and stuff? Nothing was safe in junior high—paper plates, hairspray, small woodland creatures. But now you're a grown-up, and there are no more various small fires for you. Unless you go to the Various Small Fires art exhibit at the Road Agent Gallery in the next month. There aren't any real fires, sadly, just visual art from the likes of Takako Tanabe and Todd Ramsell, among others. Both paintings and works on paper will be on display. Flammable, of course, but not ablaze. But good art is like fire, right? Incendiary! Enlightening (literally)! The show runs through January 13 at Road Agent, 2909-A Canton St. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and noon to 5 p.m. Saturdays. Call 214-749-4049.
Saturdays, 12-5 p.m.; Tuesdays-Fridays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: Dec. 16. Continues through Jan. 13
