Who is Bob Schneider? Is he the spastic B-52's vocalist with the swishy sprechgesang (half singing, half talking)? Nope. That's Fred Schneider. Is Bob Schneider your nosey but lovable mustachioed building superintendent? Sorry, but that's Schneider from the '70s sitcom One Day at a Time. Bob Schneider is a singer-songwriter type who just happens to be bringing his diverse blend of country, funk, folk and rock (I call it "cofufock") to the Granada this Wednesday. CD World's review promises "a throw-down party from beginning to end." Sounds promising. Of course, I say the same thing about One Day at a Time. Pick your Schneider, I suppose. Bob Schneider (with special guests Olospo and damesviolet) performs at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Granada Theater, 3524 Greenville Ave. Tickets are $15 (general admission) and $20 (reserved seats). Call 214-824-9933 or visit granada-theater.com.
