Blue blood kitties show off in Arlington

I like cats...much the same way as I like having a clock radio. It gets me up in the morning. If it broke, I'd replace it. Same with cats. But I'm not one of those—ick—"just like my child" people, and I certainly wouldn't invest money in a fancy cat. No, just your basic stripped-down stray will do, something that purrs and knows the proper place to pee. Perhaps you disagree. If you're into purebred, highfalutin show cats, check out Ozark Cat Fanciers' annual charity pedigreed cat show at the Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way. Show hours are noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $5 for adults, $4 for seniors and $12 for a family of four. Call 817-233-0281 for info.
Sat., Jan. 27, 12-6 p.m.; Sun., Jan. 28, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
