Shooting Stars

Ideally on Valentine's Day, your lover/spouse/trick will have you seeing stars. In a dark, soothing room dense with the aroma of overflowing and engorged rose blossoms, you will recline and relax waiting for Cupid's arrow to shoot. Your tongue will delight as the pleasure of chocolate sweetness is inserted into your mouth. Your skin will feel the comfort and warmth of leather. And for heightened pleasure, you will listen as other couples partake in their own indulgences of love. All for only 10 bucks. The University of Texas Arlington's planetarium presents Romancing the Stars, a look into the universe and the stars that create the "constellations of love." Director Bob Bonadurer sets the mood right with leather chairs, candies and flowers but also keeps it adult couples only. He may also explain that bulge of extra stars under Orion's belt. Showings are 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at 700 Planetarium Place in Arlington. For information and tickets, visit uta.edu/planetarium or call 817-272-1183.
Tue., Feb. 13, 7 & 8 p.m.; Wed., Feb. 14, 7 & 8 p.m.
