I don't get it. When I'm out of the loop, I try to hide it as best I can. But those freaks over at WaterTower Theatre want to shout it from the rooftops...or from the stage, at least. They're all about it. They even have a festival: the Out of the Loop Festival. Yeah, real cool, guys. Real discreet. They're all like, "We have all these awesome troupes coming in and performing drama and comedy, dance, music and other random stuff that people will really want to see. We’re so out of the loop. Come watch us be out of the loop for, like, 10 whole days (March 1 through 11) at the Addison Theatre Centre." Whatever. This time, I'm in the loop: Performers include WaterTower Theatre, of course, Act One Productions, Inevitable Theatre Company, Groucho & the Coconuts, Imagination Movers, Muscle Memory Dance Theatre, Paul J. Williams, Pavlov's Dogs, Queertown, SceneShop and others. Single tickets and festival passes ($50) are available by calling 972-450-6232 or visiting watertowertheatre.org.
