That buzzing sound you hear is not a giant swarm of meth-addict bees, nor is it the leftover ear-fuzz from that last Hogpig gig. Nope, that's the sound of dozens of motorbikes grinding their way through the dirt field in Texas Stadium, home of the Dallas stop of the American Motorcyclist Association's Supercrosstour. Supercross ain't no wussy straight-ahead bike race, see; it's an intense scene of motorcycles zipping around a circular dirt track, their paths punctuated by occasional trips skyward compliments of various jump hills and obstacles. There will be crashes and near misses; beer will be spilled and the boundaries of tank-top-stitching pushed. But most of all, there will be loud, relentless action, proof that Texas Stadium is still good for something. The action starts at 7 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $35 to $115.
