Realizing that backstage antics can be more entertaining than what actually happens onstage in theater, British playwright Michael Frayn penned one of the most entertaining plays, Noises Off, more than 20 years ago. A three-act piece that lets the audience experience (from backstage and the front of the house) the hilarious horrors of rehearsal, opening night and closing night for a theatre troupe performing a mediocre British farce called Nothing On, Noises Off has been performed the world over, even receiving the big-screen motion picture treatment in 1992. See it the way it was meant to be seen when ONSTAGE in Bedford presents Noises Off Fridays and Saturdays through April 14 at the Trinity Arts Theater in the Bedford Boys Ranch, 2819 Forest Ridge Drive. Tickets are $15, $10 for matinee shows. Call 817-354-6444 or visit onstageinbedford.org.
Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: March 30. Continues through April 14
