Scrubs and Spares

With the hopes and dreams of an entire city riding on their shoulders and the playoffs just around the corner, Mavs stars Dirk Nowitzki, Josh Howard and Jason Terry must really feel the pressure mounting right about now. Luckily for all of us, they'll have a chance to blow off some steam this Saturday when the Big 3 and other Mavs stars don their coaching hats for a celebrity game at SMU's Moody Coliseum, 6024 Airline Road. Laugh in amazement when Josh Howard asks Bill Bellamy where he's been for the past few years. And considering the roster of other celebrities, mostly culled from the casts of high-brow cinematic fare like Snakes on a Plane, Stomp the Yard and Scary Movie 4, brace yourself for the inevitable game/career comparisons.
