Sure, some wines relax you and put you in the mood for solo piano music and candles, but sometimes you sip a fruity Australian Riesling and you just have to rock out. In that case, what you need is a taste of Urbano Restaurant & Paninoteca's Rock and Roll Wine Dinner, which takes place Monday evening. Urbano (2533 McKinney Ave.) joins up with Good Records to bring you a unique wine dinner that offers the traditional combination of wine tasting and delicious food, but with a rock 'n' roll twist. The event features live music from the bands Mom and Tree Wave, and DJ CeePee will spin new music from The National, Handsome Furs, Jeff Buckley and more. The three-course dinner is just $40 per person, and that includes the wine. Reservations are required; call Urbano at 214-969-6911 to attend.
