Blisters on Mah Fingers!

Vincent Bugliosi's name suggests some type of horror movie aesthetic, but that may be because his name already sits atop one of the scariest stories ever: Helter Skelter. He's the author of this masterpiece and was also the prosecutor of Charles Manson. Bugliosi has recently lent his eye for detail, as well as his gift for narrative, to a novel called Reclaiming History: The Assassination of President John F. Kennedy. He'll discuss his book at the Belo Mansion (2101 Ross Ave.) at noon. This event is open to the public and lunch will be available for $12.76. Bugliosi will then make a presentation at the Sixth Floor Museum (411 Elm St.) at 6 p.m. Admission is free but reservations must be made at 214-747-6660.
Thu., May 24, noon
