Coolness. Kansas is coming to McKinney's Myers Park and Event Center—at last, a band from my high school years in the '70s. I remember the first time I heard "Heat of the Moment," it was...huh? That was Asia? Right. Anyway, I really dug "Come Sail Aw..." Oh...that was Styx. Um..."More Than a Feeling?" No. No. Of course that was Boston. Well, in any case, I'm sure Kansas will play something good from the era of wailing-tenor arena-rock, like...oh, damn..."Dust in the Wind." Man, that was a buzz kill back in the day. At least you can expect to see plenty of chicks in halter tops on guys' shoulders. Tell your mom to be careful up there. The show is part of the KLAK-97.5 FM Summer Concert series.
