The World O'Crap blog has called conservative commentator and first-time novelist Tamara Wilhite a Michelle Malkin/Ann Coulter wannabe who "doesn't have the hair or the legs" for the job. Real conservative blogs like Bushcountry.org, on the other hand, love her. Maybe you can decide for yourself by seeing her at the Plano Borders, 1601 Preston Road, 2 p.m. Saturday, when she will talk about her new book, Humanity's Edge, a collection of her science fiction short stories. The hype on this book is that it makes "The Twilight Zone seem like a tea party." The what zone? Call 972-713-9857.
