For those in need of a basketball or even a Mavericks fix, SMU may have the answer. Now don't start grumbling about Dirk and Co. not making it to the finals this year. Patience is a virtue, and we now know that next year is the time for that trophy to come this way. It's as simple as that. But for now, some mad court action can be found at the 2007 Global Games where international teams duke it out for the gold medal. I'm aiming for the match between Team USA and Africa, where I'll finally have something to cheer for again. The games run through July 7 at Moody Coliseum, 6024 Airline Road on the SMU campus.
