The AllGood goes to Woodstock

It's tough to say anything new about the 1969 Woodstock music festival. We have so much perspective (after almost 40 years!) that everyone pretty much knows the story already. Whether it's your scene or not it's hard to deny the power of the film that documents the event, though. You can feel the weight of what's happening coming through the split-screen frames and that, perhaps more than anything, has made Woodstockthe definitive concert film. The AllGood Café is hosting a showing of the rockumentary, and you should know already whether you're the type of person that will enjoy it. If it's been a while since you've seen the film it may be worth your while to get back to the garden and check out eight previously edited segments. They were restored to the original director's cut in 1994, adding about 40 minutes to the original release. So, if you are stardust and if you are golden, you should definitely join your kindred spirits as they enjoy some great performances wrapped in a cultural time capsule of pop culture, fashion, music and a certain "vibe" of the times that permeates and in all likelihood will never be duplicated.
