It's not often a building gets compared to a stuffed animal, but that's the implied comparison the president of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History makes when he talks about the 66-year-old building: "It has been loved to death." For many native (and nerdy) North Texans--this writer included--the museum reminds us of the school field trips and summer excursions where we learned we really liked dinosaurs, Australia or ancient coins. About to begin work on a whole new campus, the museum is offering free admission to certain areas, like the DinoDig and the Noble Planetarium, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, August 16.
