Kids bear the burden of many unreasonable expectations based on sweeping generalizations about who they are. Does every boy wanna be a baseball player? Every little girl a pretty, pretty princess? And what of the Kids Love Frogs exhibit at the Skillman Southwestern branch of the Dallas Public Library? Maybe some kids don't even like amphibians, let alone frogs. Maybe they like chicken. Let's let the kids, who may or may not be interested in frogs, decide for themselves after viewing a frog figurine collection at the library, 5707 Skillman St., throughout September. The library is open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays (closed Thursdays and Sundays). Call 214-670-6078.
Mondays-Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: Sept. 7. Continues through Sept. 30, 2007
