Baby Love

Wingspan takes on Edward Albee

Art these days is so ambiguous. Paintings look like a 5-year-old's scribbles and films lack narrative structure (David Lynch and Matthew Barney, go on a permanent vacation to Antarctica together...without cameras.) What a relief, then, to hear of Edward Albee's The Play About The Baby at the Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther Drive. Play. Baby. Easy enough. Or is it? Showtimes are 8 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from Thursday through November 10, with matinees at 2 p.m. on November 3 and November 10. Tickets are $12 to $20. Visit wingspantheatre.com.
Thursdays-Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Saturdays, 2 p.m. Starts: Oct. 25. Continues through Nov. 10, 2007
