I realize that the amount of time I devote to Cold Case Files, Forensic Files and other Court TV shows detailing gruesome investigations of murder and heinous crimes might be shocking to the average person. But to someone like Dallas native and author John Leake—who celebrates the release of his bio of serial killer Jack Unterweger, Entering Hades: The Double Life of a Serial Killer, this Tuesday—I've only skimmed the surface of horrific detail and advanced disturbed psyches. Kirkus Reviews previewed the book as "impeccably researched and memorably gruesome," which seems appropriate considering the graphic career of the Austrian slayer. Meet Leake 7 p.m. Tuesday at Borders West Village. Call 214-219-0512.
