Fish On Ice

Anyone following the Dallas Stars lately knows that the things that happen on ice in this town can be more than a little disappointing. If you're tired of getting the cold shoulder, head not to the American Airlines Center but to ye olde Reunion Arena for Disney On Ice. See Mickey Mouse zipping hither and thither pumped up on meth, while Minnie picks at her cute, polka-dotted scabs in the corner. Special guest Pete Doherty joins the cast to force the Cheshire Cat to inhale from his pipe! Just kidding, though we'd pay to see that too. No, this Disney on Ice is an iced-out version of Finding Nemo, the heartwarming tale of a father and son fish separated by a vast ocean of emotional ineptitude, and, of course, by a vast ocean, literally. Dory the forgetful fish and that surfer dude turtle are along for the ride as daddy Marlin journeys into the deep to find his runaway son. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. Friday, November 23, 11:30 a.m., 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Saturday, November 24 and 1:30 p.m. Sunday, November 25. Tickets are $15 to $50.
