If we told you that Yacov Moshe Maza was coming to Dallas for the first time in more than 20 years, you'd likely race to Wikipedia to figure out who the hell we’re talking about. If you don't need to enlist the help of everyone's favorite fact-checker, then congrats. Oh, and meet us Tuesday night at the Tipp Inn—you're on our trivia team. Actually, Yacov is a virtual treasure trove of trivia: He's guest-starred as Rabbi Hyman Krustofski in The Simpsons; he was nominated for a Razzie for his role in Caddyshack II; and he was once linked to mob boss Meyer Lansky. Oh, and he also goes by the name Jackie Mason. The 76-year-old former rabbi rolls back through Dallas with his riffs on Judaism, American culture and politics after starring in his own Broadway show, working on several TV specials and putting together a video blog on YouTube. The man who was once booted from The Ed Sullivan Show for supposedly flipping Ed the bird on live TV promises audiences at the Eisemann Center (2351 Performance Drive in Richardson) an evening of over-the-top Yiddish yuks, beginning 7 p.m. Sunday. Enjoy Mr. Maza for yourself by purchasing tickets ($50 to $180) at 972-744-4650 or jackiemasonlive.com.
