For their second exhibition, the new Light & Sie gallery presents Grit and Vigor, a group show compiling sculptures, paintings and photographs curated by Rowley Kennerk and inspired by artistic movements of the '60s and '70s that promises to affect gallery-goers "viscerally rather than intellectually." Possible translation: lots of pointy edges, rusty metal and jagged glass. Grit and Vigor's opening reception takes place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday; the exhibition runs through Saturday, December 22 at Light & Sie, 129 Leslie St. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays. Call 214-745-2255 or visit lightsandsie.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays. Starts: Nov. 22. Continues through Dec. 22, 2007
