Tryptophan Salvation

Get in on a turkey giveaway

Here's a note to a very special set of regular Dallas Observer readers: The Salvation Army will offer traditional Thanksgiving dinners with all the trimmings to more than 4,000 poor and homeless folk from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at its local shelters: 5302 Harry Hines Blvd., Dallas; 1855 E. Lancaster Ave., Fort Worth; 1508 E. McKinney St., Denton; and 712 W. Abram St., Arlington. So enjoy, loyal readers, and remember: If it gets cold afterward, this paper also makes fine insulation for your clothing.
Thu., Nov. 22, 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m., 2007
