Ain't It A Shostakovich?

Dmitri Shostakovichwas not an auto mechanic from Philly, but rather a renowned Russian composer of the 20th century. Like many Russian artists of his time, he had a somewhat tenuous relationship with the government, as evidenced by his Tenth Symphony—released in 1953 after Stalin's death, it features a violent second movement often thought to be a musical portrait of the fallen tyrant.
