In going from comedian to TV show consultant to best-selling author with nothing to back up the latter two except merely being a guy, Greg Behrendt has pulled off quite a feat. The author of He's Just Not That Into Youeven had his own talk show. He's like the Susan Powter of the new century, complete with spiky blond hair. His career might have looked the same, as well. He burst onto the scene, became a hit, for some reason, and now just grasps onto whatever fame he can muster. But if you're thinking he's gone by the irrelevant wayside, think again. He has since written (this time with his wife) another relationship book, It's Called a Breakup Because It's Broken, that garnered a favorable review from Publisher's Weekly. He's also back on the comic track again. Just in time for that romantic Valentine date, you can catch his straight-talk and funny take on life and love at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road, Thursday through Sunday. For tickets and showtimes, call 972-404-8501 or visit improvclubs.com.
