Sure, it's common knowledge that blondes are dumb and brunettes are smart...but where does that leave redheads? According to the new Dallas Theater Center play, The Blonde, the Brunette and the Vengeful Redhead, they're, ahem, vengeful. But as someone who's been all three at one point or another, I'm kind of an expert, and I'm gonna have to go with perfervid. Redheads are perfervid. (Okay, fine, I just like the word perfervid. I like the sound of a lot of words, actually. Since I'm sure you're wondering, some of my favorites include superfluous, epiphany, fulcrum and nincompoop.) In any case, you can see the acclaimed Australian play, which features a single actress playing seven roles, at the DTC, 3636 Turtle Creek Blvd., through March 30.
