It is about damned time somebody did Dallas other than Debbie. Actually, ol' Deb was just a tease, anyway, as she never did Dallas or anyone in it for the entirety of the classic porno film. Broken promises. Broken hearts. Broken VCRs, tossed across shag-carpeted living rooms in moments of dejected, Dallas-lusting frustration. But Austin gallery Art Palace offers no such letdown, bringing three acclaimed young artists to town for the Palace Does Dallas exhibition at Road Agent Gallery. Sterling Allen, Peat Duggins and Ali Fitzgerald bring their unique takes on pop culture, civilization and sharks, respectively. The show runs through April 12 at Road Agent, 2909-A Canton St. next door to the Barry Whistler Gallery. Admission is free and gallery hours are noon to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and by appointment. Visit road-agent.com.
Tuesdays-Saturdays, 12-5 p.m. Starts: March 14. Continues through April 12, 2008
