When it comes to "things I love," Billy Joel and various foodstuffs are always at the top of the list. I've been living here in Allentown (er, Obsessionville) since my childhood, and happily the two worlds collided a few years ago when Billy married foodie Katie Lee Joel. As more than just Mrs. Joel, Katie's made quite a name for herself in the culinary world (including a stint as host of the first season of Top Chef), and now she brings us the cookbook The Comfort Table, a collection of home-cooked recipes both classic and contemporary. Katie Lee Joel will dish about Billy's faves and sign The Comfort Table at 7 p.m. Thursday at Barnes & Noble Lincoln Park, 7700 W. Northwest Highway. Call 214-739-1125 or visit barnesandnoble.com.
